That's not a relevant point. Australia is a continent as well as a country, and so fits in with the other options. Canada neither has the sufficient population nor the geographic distinction.

I live in NYC but i'm from Istanbul originally. The poll is kind of tricky thouhg; Why are there only continents plus Canada? If you want to be more precise, you'd be better off dividing some of the other continents as well, such as North Africa; Subsaharan Africa; West Europe; Eastern Europe; Middle East; Central Asia; Far East; Southeast Asia etc. This way it's confusing and not very clear for countries like Russia, Georgia ec.
