no i play both civilization 3 and 4 but mostly play 4 i just wanna know how to make the downloads work in the game

Ah, ok. It depends what it is you are downloading. Look here for a more detailed explanation. If it's a single scenario like a .bic .bix or .biq, then put it into the respective "Scenarios" folder. If it's some kind of art file, then it depends what it is.
