Which advisor should I trust more?

Cool! I want the Civ 2 advisors back! How were they any way? anyone have screenshots?

They hired some actors to play the advisors. The science guy was this nerdy professor, the financial advisor was a savvy trader, the military adviser was this fat gung-ho general, the foreign advisor was a lady (who spoke with a Russian/Eastern European accent in the modern age) and my personal favourite was the Luxury advisor = Elvis himself! "The people love you. You are a great leader....King" Coming from Elvis, that's high praise :D

The advisers are always trying to get you to spend more moeny in there field...

more troops, more science funds, more resources..etc etc

And when the foreign advisor says they have an army of the same size as you, they mean the same size...

i think u're militairy advisor means u are superior, after all, u can outnumber sumone in many ways :)

I realize it's better not to trust the advisors completely, if at all, since often times they give the weirdest advice. Like my advisor who keeps nagging me to build more cities even though I've got like, 30 of them already (on a standard map). But I just found it odd that they would contradict each other at times.

I do miss the Civ 2 advisors. They should bring them back in Civ 4.

I trust my advisors less than I trust my city governors.
Sometimes their council is sound, at other times they remember their true AI origin.
