Yeah , thats right, place your votes in what I'm hoping will turn into a poularity contest.
Who would you most like to go for a drink with and why?
I'm sorry if your name isn't on the list, especcially if I've forgotten someone real important.
Ive gone for other and have chosen Fayadi, just because he'd be so funny to talk to and because I could get him really drunk, beat him to death with a symbol of china (ne ideas ne one) and then dump him into a canal
You know I love you really Fayadi me good friend :D :D :D

So who's it gonna be for u?

Ya bloody well leave me out, you little scallywag!!!!:o

I am an interesting specimen of life on this planet, and not being included in the intial grouping has made me so upset I'm going to hold my breath for as long as it takes...:crazyeyes

Ye may of meant me in reference to DarkSheer, in which case, you are only guilty of blasphemy and mispelling, rahter than deliberate ignorance;)

I vote for Simon, perhaps by meeting I can find a way to join his evil (TM) legions. ;)

I drink only very occasionally these days, so "a drink" is something special, sort of.

But I'd have a drink with anyone here (even those I argue vehemently with--but don't worry, if I get drunk I usually don't turn mean ;) ). Most people here seem to be interesting people in one way or other, and if all else fails we could talk about Civ strategies!

Drinking some mead (never tried it) with old Stormerne might be particularly interesting though--he could tell me all about the "Old Religion" and such--part of my heritage too....

With you of course my beloved Graeme ;)

I don't drink! I get Drunk;)

If anyone on the list, TF, So that i could slowly get him drunk and quietly manipulate with his mind and then get him to sign a contract which says that he is agreeing to give me the full control of CFC and from there i will also manipulate with the Visitors brains (except some which might proove usefull later on as i am gonna take over the world)so that they will start telling everyone about how great CFC is and then in a year or so i will have a billion followers and i will change the name from CFC to GmaCaLmSLiPwtW(Give me a country a let my sekt live en peace with the world)
Or GCKSKPW for short, and from there on i will create a army and first take over America and then move on from there.
All your base are belong to me:mwaha:

I said Kitten of Chaos, because his @%@##$# army is in Piedmont in our diplomacy game and he really just needs to understand why it should get out.

R.III

So how does that go with the "live in peace with the world" bit of your title then?

Why should I have to go for a drink with just one fanatic? I suppose it would be easiest to go for a drink with Kitten of Chaos, as he doesn't live that far away, but quite a lot of the posters here aren't old enough to get into a pub, even in Britain so that wouldn't be wonderful really. I wouldn't mind a corner in the snug with Stormerne, polymath, Crazy Eddie, Algernon, Jimcat and Genghis for a live action game of MC, but the travel difficulties for Jimcat and Genghis may put a three-way block on this one. Which reminds me, it's my turn I think so I'll have to leave you all in whichever pub you have chosen and dash across to All Other Games......

I voted for myself, that way I get TWO drinks. :crazyeyes

Drinking heavily whilst alone is the first sign of a problem, Lefty;) :p

I'd drink with anyone - who can afford my tastes!

Does your taste include "freanch 75"s, Champagne topped with a good slug of Cognac?

Well, I actually have been drinking with Pedro. That was fun. Now I voted for Lefty, because he's got the best sense of humour on this forum. But I had difficulty choosing between him and Thunderfall... I could talk over a lot with him as well. It would've been so much easier managing the GOTM if I could talk to him in person...

Edit: Hey, I actually got a vote as well! Who's that nut case??

I'm not old enough to drink! :goodjob:

Edit: Thought I'd edit this because I wouldn't need to drink alcohol, maybe some cola will do ;)

If I had to drink with someone it would be one of the veteran's so they could teach me the way's of the great

I wanted to vote for myself, but that ain't fair I think. :D Nice to be in a poll. I voted Matrix, since he's the most close. Gk isn't impossible either though. ;)

Hmm... That never stopped 98% of the male population;)

In terms of who I wouldn't mind having one with, it would either be that misguided Essendon supporter from Victoria(;) ), or duke o york, so that I could mock English cricket and discuss Python, and the continuing adventures of Hakan Sukur, Steven Seagal, Ali Jonty Bacher Rhodes and Spitman.

Wouldn't mind seeing Mikoyan's famed haircut, so one could have a laugh:lol:

It's quite hard though, as I would quite enjoy catching up with most, if not all, of the denizens of this place for a quiet something and a yarn.:egypt:

And now for something that will send shivers down the spine of the Civers out there: Dr. Darkshade will be leaving these shores for travel, and then long term work several times in the next few years.
Hope to hit Canada and Sweden at some stage this year, and then further stuff in 2003.
2004 will see the Evil One moving to England to teach, so that opens up my areas of operation to include most of the British Isles and Western Europe.
The US is on the menu for the end of that year.
At last, a whole globe to satiate my appetites:vampire: :mwaha::satan:
