Which Civ follows you?

What else would I mean?

You used a quote about Askia, Alex and Hiawatha and then you said that you almost never get India.
By using a quote, one can assume that the post was a response to the quote.

Ah, I just quoted to show which post I was responding to. Camikaze mentioned he didn't get Hiawatha for a long time, so I added that I had the same with India (Gandhi).

Spain and the Inca seem to always be there. When Denmark is in the game or I'm playing them, they will also always be next to Spain, which is kind of annoying, since their color schemes are sorta hard to distinguish on the map.

Oddly, I think I've gotten Darius exactly once as a random AI. I haven't seen him in months and half the time I forget that he's even in the game.

Bismark. Every effing game I get plopped down right next to Bismark. And then while I'm setting up an NC start and then rushing rifles, he always goes liberty, expands like crazy, spams Landsknecht and DoWs me. I then take all but 1 of his cities and he sulks for the rest of the game, occasionally popping up to remind me he's still around and still hates me.

I guess it's just me but I see Germany in nearly every game, usually on my border. I'm playing AS Germany for the first time because I'm tired of dealing with him as an opponent. I get to be the deceptive warmonger and the reduced maintenance is making this fun.

Yeah, and I don't know if it's just because of the fact that he nearly always covets my lands, or if it's actually the way his AI is programmed, but I can never *ever* get a fair trade out of him. Not even in the early game when we haven't fought yet and he's listed as neutral or friendly.

Yep. Bismark is a terrible neighbor, period. And that's just how I'm playing him. :D

Always Germany nearby gets wiped out, always England overseas is a world superpower.

Monty. If he's near me, it seems like he'll always declare on me in the BC's with a warrior rush. Good thing I archers got cheaper eh.

::Shrug:: Monty's always been kinda a jerk. When I get him as a neighbor, I'm actually more worried if he *doesn't* jaguar rush me. Because then he's probably teching up to hit me with stronger units as soon as someone else DoW's me.

Definitely Cathy for me. While I almost never end up against Bismark or England (and not because I actually play them).

Darius(I'm seeing a pattern here...), Alexander, Nobunaga and Catherine are actually together in at least 3 out of 4 of my games. It gets pretty stale, but in a good way, some how. :)

Frequent fliers have to be the Mongols for me, and always in a bad mood right next door with rubbish land I don't want to conquer early on.

However, in 12 games now, I'm yet to see the Aztecs...I think they're hiding...

In four of my last five games I've started next to Washington, and he's been a sanctimonious pillock each time...

Probably Genghis Khan, I don't see any specific civ that follows in to my games. And surprisingly, Khan is always friendly to me.

Since I bought the Polynesians on release, the only game I've played where Kamehameha hasn't been there is when I was Polynesia.

He's not been that evil an AI in my experience, though, which is nice.
