Which Civ is best / easiest for PBEM?

Which Civ is best / easiest for PBEM?

I have a group of 5 friends, a couple who are a bit computer illiterate. With our varied schedule, i was thinking a PBEM would be perfect. Do any of the editions of Civ have a very easy to use PBEM? Will Civ VI have it? Or is there perhaps another game someone could recomend?

I did a search but the results were all over the place, mostly for new games starting or going on.

Get a GMR account. Its easy user friendly PBEM for ciV.

If you dont want to use GMR then any of the games is equaly easy to play PBEM as long as it has a hotseat mode.
