Well i would like first that we put the greatest nations ever to be on earth!

like the largest ones every,

-Persia

-Rome

-the Caliphate (Arabs and Turks)

-the british empire

-the french empire

and more....

The civilization I want the most is the vikings.
I also would like to have the americans.

Personally I just looove playing on the "real earth" maps (wish the original game didn't include  ), and as such I have always missed Australians. It always get so empty in the right lower corner of the map otherwise.

Some might argue that those are originating from Europe, but hey - so are the americans :)

yeha but americans have alot more influence on the world...

I would go for the Hebrews, which I think are passed on to often. Just because their golden age was before the roman empire began, and they conquered no land but Canaan, they get unnoticed. Then again, it would be dificult to give them the right traits. Here are some ideas:

Militaristic, religious. King David as leader.

Religous, cultural. King Solomon as leader.

Militaristic, agricultural. Theodor Herzl as leader (this would be Israelis though, not Hebrews). Special unit: There are plenty, trust me.

Your point being?
Maybe we should just play with America, India, Russia and China then and see how fun that will be.

Or wait, you can that already! Lets go and do that, off you go...

whats the matter with you, you weirdo. all i was saying was that they can't include every nationality in the game and australia don't have as much influence in world as america.

hehehe... Well the most important are the ones who gave an impact on the world, Like America, The Caliphate, The british empire, China, India, etc. *the mongols where a war empire... thought they didn't leave anything.... however they had a strong army they were the ones who destroyed the caliphate so like they should be here, And by the way, The Canaan's were the first to set land on palestine well they were later the canaanites living in lebanon were called the phoenicians because they used to dress in purple i believe, but still they were the same race and later the Canaanites went to egypt and became the egyptians and later the egyptians migrated to north africa and became the berbers but the carthagians came from yemen, the book im reading is very interesting! it talks about the history of arabia and how those civ's go to be!

It would make a nice campaign!

The civ's that came from yemen *saudi arabia in that time was a nomadic life except for the Hejaz (western saudi arabia) in which there was the route between al those nations and it was known for having the best merchants and traders, thought it always had holy sites like Eve's grave, Abraham's house *Kaa'ba,etc.* in which everywhere in arabia they made it holy* are:

-Babylon

-Canaan -Who later brought the Egyptians, Berbers,Phoenicians

-Carthage

And if we would like to put a hero for the hebrews i would rather it be Moses because he was great!

I would also like to see some modern latin american countries, like Brazil (and I am leaning that way because I am part brazilian, but, well, Brazil is cool).

For Brazil, the traits could be:
--Reproduceful (so many Brazilians are hot!!)
--Tourism (for everyone to come all around the world and see the hot brazilians)

(that was a joke up there)

Brazil:
-Religious (so many Brazilians are Catholic and they are really religious)
-Industrial (ex: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, & Brasilia--the city was designed to be like an airplane).
-Possibly Agricultural (since there is a lot of agriculture in Brazil)

But, seriously, Brazil could be as powerful as the US. All they have to do is develop their interior more and make all of the Brazilians very well educated (and they are doing both of those things now and have been for a while).

I like the idea of playing as the Brazilians, but besides adding more, I think that updating the existing civilizations would be great. I wouldn't mind having a choice of figureheads for some of the most influential nations (as much as I love Lincoln, I wouldn't mind looking at Jefferson or Roosevelt once in awhile, for example). maybe some more variety in the city graphics, where not all European or not all Asian cities look the same - 2 or 3 styles for a culture group. There are probably a few other things that could use some revising, but I think this would be more useful then adding 7-8 new Civs.

Yea lets put the Brazilians! they actually are the masters of soccer! ;) :D:D:D j/k yea we should put them they would have been a world super power for real if not for something i forgot i read a book that said that 4 countries including argentina,Brazil, Egypt and another which i forgot would have been world super powers if only they did... i forgot

Of course they can't include every nationality in the game, after all there are over 100 countries in the world. If you would have reflexected over my first post you would have noticed that the suggestion didn't really have anything with the Australians to do (or your ranting about power and influence), but getting the australian landmass filled with a Player. The Aboriginal people would work aswell.

if they include a australians/aboringines, which had pretty much no impact on the world then they would have to include all other nationalities as well no matter where in the map they are. because most of the time the world map is not used in a game.

its true they are both european descent but americans had huge impact on the world and still has a huge influence

i defo think they should have more figure heads. maybe 2 or 3 per civ. specially as some civs have been around for thousands of years and have had completely seperate eras but are currently under one... hood as it were.

for example mao and shi huandi could both be chinese figure heads. you should be able to choose. and it would be hard to do.

Well i would like them to put Serbia, but thats just becouse of personal reasons....
But since i'm pretty sure that wont happen i say i would like to see more modern south american nations, as mentioned above, like Brazil or Argentina.
Also i would like some more europian civs.
I know there already is a myriad of them but i think some important are missing.
Poland, Switzerland, Hungary.....well and Serbia :)

I agrea about australians. They should be in the game, simply couse there are civs from every other continent but Australia....beside there are many "not important" civs in Civ 3 i dont see why australians should not be in it.......or serbians for that matter :p
