I voted for Auto entries for pedia and civ txts. My write in vote would be for Add Era and Cultures.

I voted for that, because unlike Embroydead and Drift, while i did them correctly it took a HELL of a lot of time to do the entries and making sure they were done properly. This would save modders a vast amount of time, as i know when i did WOTW 75% of my time was spent with the Pedia and civ entries.

Maybe this poll should've been "Which is most important" instead of what do we want first since they can be very different.

I chose 'automatic creation of directory structure for mods' simply because it is easy for Firaxis to implement (the easy changes will probably be first on Firaxis's list of things to do) and will most likely get done if we ask for it (unlike some of the other choices that will require more work on Firaxis's part) even though it is not the most important of the changes.

If the poll was asking which is most important I would say "Automatic entries to PediaIcons and Civilopedia when adding Units and Techs".

all right, here is the count:
10-10 Complete DIplomacy Editor and Automatic entries to txt files....
next with 7 votes is the Railroad limits....

my favorite is the no raze city option.... I really thought more people would want that, but it only got 2 votes...

Need more control over worker jobs, like ability to add them and much more choices as to effects of those jobs.

that won't be easy to implement, I selected options that Firaxis can add easily without any major changes to the code, because these are the one they might add. I don't think they'll make any more major changes, unless they really sell another Add-on...

definitely the civlop/pedia stuff....w/out question this is the biggest pain in the neck....as for the city razing thing, doesn't the ai raze a city if its culture is really, really low? i know that the human player will automatically raze if you absolutely bombard the heck out of a city.

I really can't believe so many people want the automatic entries to the txt files (14, 33%), this is something everyone can do by himself (ok, it is a pain) while all the other options are really missing and would improve the game.... maybe a few of you guys can explain this to me...

as I said, it is a pain, but please.... It is something we can do, while most of the other options are just things missing... Don't you never make scenarios where you need to preset the diplomtic status and trade agreements? doesn't it bother you when a city like Paris is razed in a scenario...

sure, it's something we can do, for HOURS, upon HOURS!!!! :D

re: pre-set diplomatic status: c3c editor allows for locked alliances

re: razing: isn't the culture # of city the main determinant for AI razing?

this is only one man's opinion

razing: no, there is no way to turn it off, it happens on some cities no matter what you do...
Diplomacy: only locked alliances available for 4 groups!! what about more civs, what about Locked peace, ....

razing: no, there is no way to turn it off, it happens on some cities no matter what you do...

it's not a matter of turning it off (razing). rather it correlates specifically to the culture # of a city.

i do agree that the next civ game should have a more detailed diplomacy-edit features. but remember, it wasn't long ago that we couldn't even have locked alliances. now that was the pits!
