It was a Sylvester Stallone cliche instead of the NOOOOOOOOOO as he drops the girl. Moving on...

must have been ages since I have seen Cliffhanger, in my memory he dropped his (non-sexual) male partner. odd.

He definitely dropped a woman at the beginning of the movie. One of the finest moments of Stallone's career.

On the still I can't tell if that's a woman or Leif Garrett.

It is an adaptation of the epomymous book by Thomas Mann. It takes some liberties though, but overall i liked it
