Hey! I' planning to buy a new laptop for gaming (ie. civ) heavy internet use, watching dvd's, photoshopping and editing etc. My budget isn't very big (student here...), I'm currently considering the following three and wondering which one would have the best quality versus money spent. I'd really prefer the 17" screen one but if the 15" screen ones are significantly superior I'm willing to consider. Are these sufficient to play Civ Beyond earth? All help is much appreciated! :)

HP Pavilion 17-f079no
- Intel Core i5-4210U (1,7 Ghz)
- NVIDIA GeForce 840M (1 Gt)
- Screen 17,3" (1920x1080)

Lenovo Z50-75 699€
- Intel Core i7-4510U (2.00 Ghz)
- Nvidia GeForce GT 840M
- Screen 15,6" FHD LED (1920 x 1080)

HP 15-P095NO
- AMD Quad Core A10-5745 APU
- AMD Radeon R7 M260
- Screen 15,6" (1920x1080)

The AMD HP will have a much poorer gaming performance than the other two.
The others are reasonably good performance wise, but might be not so good in regard to display and mechanical quality.
See e.g. this review for the Lenovo.

You might want to look around a bit on that notebookcheck site for some other models with a better price/performance/quality ratio, e.g.

with much better graphics and a decent display should also be available around €700.

Battery life isn't usually good for gaming laptops.. if you plan on taking it around with you a lot I would be aware of this first.

The Asus g73jh I'm typing this on gets less than an hour on a full charge. It's just too power hungry. I love the thing, but it's useless without an outlet.
