Which search engine do you use?

Google wasn't around forever, while I've used Yahoo for many years. However, Yahoo really IS powered by Google, and they produce the same search results.

Still... I use Yahoo more, because it's a habit. You know, I've been typing that address whenever I need to find something for the last 7 years, so...

I started with altavista when I first went online and also Yahoo. Then I used Lycos quite often. Since 4 or 5 years it's only Google for me though...

Years ago, Google was recommended by the Wall Street Journal. I've been hooked ever since. It's even my homepage. How sad. ;-)

Currently Google is definitely my favorite search engine. Some years ago (in the pre-Google era) I used to use AskJeeves a lot, but then they decided to change the way it works. Can't remember exactly what it was but it was in the same period as Google was starting so I gave that a try and was convinced immediately

Likewise, but i turned to google when i got more "comfortable" with the internet. It's also alot easier to type in the address bar than any other search engine (thats the reason i use it)

Nope, still powered by Google. I use Yahoo for regular searches, but Google for that nice image thingy.

It's not a search engine in itself, but it lets you use many search engines with the same search pattern. It's also multilingual.

Dead handy (if a pain to cut and paste from - maybe I should work out how to do this more easily).
