I am in the minority: don't have PTW and never seriously considered buying it.

The improved editor would have been nice ... but the game takes SO long to play I really don't see much point in multiplayer, except maybe for playing by email.

On the other hand I am considering getting Conquests, as it seems to provide more in the way of additional single-player content than PTW did.

I have PTW, but if I knew that a year later an expansion pack with all PTWs features and more stuff was coming out, I would of waited.

Guess I can't do anything about it now.

i got PTW today !!!!!

don't laugh, I had an internet downloadable version of civ for which you cannot add expansion packs and so to play conquests I've had to buy a CD version of civ3 and the only one available is the new Civ Gold pack which has PTW (unbelievably I've had to patch both civ and ptw tonight, that IMO is sloppy from Atari for a new release {although it does just seem like the 2 old packages stuck together in a new box})

I have PTW and soon as possible will buy Conquest . But it will not be that soon couse I don't belive c3c will come in my country this year. (Thats why I must pull some connection from outside to bring me new exp. ;) )

Yes man you're right, I 've got Civ 1 DOS and Civ 1 Windows, Civ 2 original ed and then Civ2 Ultimate Classic Collection and Civ 2 Gold Multiplayer and Civ ToT and Civ 3 and PTW. I wish I could find the next "Conquest" but in original version (US version) as patching an European one is too much a pain in the a.. oops the neck. A lot o' money could one say but definetely no regrets and I wish I could do it as long as possible
