Who is the most aggressive leader?

I like how BTS has kind of reconnected back with Civ I. In the very first civ, the most aggressive countries were the Greeks, Zulus, Aztecs and Mongols. I would say they are probably the top 4 for Civ IV.

Montezuma is the most aggressive in the 'omg psychopath' sense, but the most dangerous of those four I'd say is Shaka. He can really really easily dominate the map and if he's not friendly with you when he runs out of prey, he WILL come after you.

My thoughts exactly when I saw the poll. Down to the very letter. I guess it depends on what you mean by agressive. Most likely to declare war? Monty. Leader you need to watch out for most? Shaka.

I think Shaka is more agressive. However I always try to beat up Monty as soon as possible. I don't like his meso-american culture. Shaka has a good UB the ikhanda. -25% isn't too shabby which can help him expand and conquer...

I love maps with Monty, even at furious he'll trade with you and you can pay him to war anyone. Not to mention with him around you don't have to worry about being anyone's 'worst enemy'.

Downside is unless you nuture him with free war techs he gets wiped out and vassals a majority of the time.

A monty map is a gift not to be wasted! lol

Come to think of it, I dont think I've ever had Tokugawa declare war on me, or even anyone else. He always just sits there and stagnates from lack of trade.

Yep, the other day I was Pleased with Sitting Bull and Ragnar, sharing my religion. This was fairly early game. Toku was building an army and DoWed at me. I started to build troops, but then RAGNAR f***ing DoWs at me and I'm gone.

I'm with d_almighty on this one. I think it's between monty and shaka for pure aggression, but shaka gets the vote because he's much more dangerous due to his ability to keep his economy going. Something monty lacks. Monty isn't really dangerous at all if you know how to deal with him.

Genghis is SOOO annoying! He once declared war on me and I lost one of my cities. He's also so sneaky. I once got Defensive Pact with him, then he declared war on Julius Caesar and I had to as well, and I wasn't that advanced.
