I say there should be a pop-up everytime a nuclear wepon is used like your forgien or milatry dviser saying "The barbic Russians have used a nuclear device on our freinds the Zulu!"
I mean a civ could nuke a other civ you could not even know!

I quite like the idea, but if there was a massive nuclear war it could get quite annoying...

you could turn it off didnt they say they were going to make it so you could turn off the wltkd pop up?

Well if you turn it off then there's no point having it :p

edit: ...and yes, there is.

By the way, is there anyway to change the nuclear attack animation in the game - i mean, the explosion or the sound? In CIV2 it looked much better.

Good question. I once landed on the shores of a civ to find they had been nuked the previous go and I didn’t know who had done it.
All the civs know if you nuke someone (and invariably declare war on you), so why don’t we know?

I always know when a civ is being nukes because I can hear it, then I usually buy world maps to see who it was ;)

Whoever did the nuking would be the only person that would be able to see the effects (unless they traded maps immediately after)

Usually I can figure out who it is, notice I said world map"S" sometimes I have to get more than one to find out who got nuked.

100 % agree with it. Anyway, in the modern world, this kind of "event" would be quickly known by every leader...
We should also have the opportunity to declare war immediatly against the nuking civ, without any disadvantage for the reputation, don't you think ?

Great idea. This makes total sense, and would be useful. Afterall, if the AI can automatically declare war on the player after a nuclear stike, than why can't the player do the same?
The Persians and the Japanese had a huge nuclear war in my game, and I had no idea it was going on until I landed my troops on their island. It as completely devastated...

If you're not already at war with the civ that got nuked you automatically declare war on the civ that launced the nuclear weapon. This is true for vanilla civ at least. It's a bug.
