Why are aircraft not available after researching the technology? Other civs have it. I end up developing it and never am able to build an aircraft, also some types of armor.
You probably don't have all of the natural resources required to support construction of the aircraft. Bombers, fighters, and gunships require the oil resource, while jet fighters and stealth bomber require both oil and aluminum.
