Why is my Harbor not working ? :S

Can please some1 take a quick look and tell me why my Harbor in Tenochtitlan doesnt form a trade route to the Capital. (savegame attached)

Yeah, mine stopped working too since the last update.

Wait... isn't Tenochtitlan your capital? (it used to be in Civ II at least, I'm sure of that^^)
The capital will never get the Trade Route icon, only the cities connected to it.

It is if you're the Aztecs, but he conquered it as the Mongols.

Have you got another harbor in a city with a road connection to the capital?

When I load up the save game, it does make a trade route on the next turn. Trade routes from harbors don't show up immediately iirc, they only show up the turn following the completion of the Harbor. I just gave all my orders to the units, waited til next turn, and the trade route was established.

Yeah I realized it makes trade routes on the next turn in this case but it wasnt making them for several turns. Do I need a visible water connection for the Harbor to work ?

Hmm, yeah, reloading seems to fix it... but there is definitely a glitch now. Routes weren't showing for at least a couple dozen turns for me, but then they did after a reload. Only harbor routes were doing this.

For harbors to work you do need a visible water connection to your capital. If you have only made a visible path by land, and the water surrounding the city is obscured, then the trade route doesn't work. I also believe that a trade route can be blockaded if there are enough ships blockading a city.
