I have yet to find a use for the Culture screen (I believe it is F3). Does any one find this useful? I would love to know why and how to use it for something...

It's F5.
I agree with philippe that its useful to know when you are getting the cultural victory

you can also go to your cultural advisor... and foreign screen on your stance in culture with others..

Ahh-
I have never attempted a cultural victory and I can see my relative culture on F8 so absent trying for a cultural victory are there any other uses for the Cultural Advisor?

I generally play Emperor and I do not think I will be getting a cultural victory at that level any time soon:crazyeye:

never found it usefull yet.

if I want to see when the border of a given town will expand , I watch the city screen.

(except going for cultural win)

One piece of information available on the Cultural Advisor screen is the dates all your culture producing improvements are built. This is useful if you need to know when a certain improvement/wonder will earn the 1000 year bonus and double its cultural production.

Limited usefulness, I know, but you asked and that's the only use I ever put it to.

I use it mainly to see at a glance how far my cities are from going to its next cultural expansion. I know I can see this in the city screen to, but the cultural advisor allows me to see them all quickly. It is most useful, though, in the early game, because in later stages the cultural expansion is not that important anymore (wrt territory expansion, of course).

It shows you what time did your imrovements build. So you see 'catheral in London built in 100 AD', 'The London library built in 1000 BC' etc. It feels good.

That is the only reason I ever look at it. I use it to see how fast my infrastructure is coming along.
