Here's the scoop. This part of the forum sucks. Where else will you find at least 5 threads about what civs suck and which ones are the best and which ones shouldn't be civs. This whole section is nothing but a place for flamewars. I know that the "Civilization Whines" thread has been posted by the moderators, but how can this section continue without people saying which civs are the best, which ones don't deserve to be a civ, which ones have stupid leaders, which ones are the worst. The fact is, if you haven't figured it out in these past months is that civs had to be added in to make the 4 cultures, ex. The America's, Africa, Europe and Asia, then you're stupid. Who the hell cares if somebody thinks that the American civ should not be a civ? This section contributes nothing, that's the bottom line. I don't care about any of the replies that are written here, so save your flame for another section.

If you'd like to complain to the admin, post a similar thread in 'Site Feedback'. This isn't the place to discuss the usefulness of a forum.
As you see from the tex of the "civilizations whines requirements" annoucment (click of the anoucements at the top of this forum) you are not alone it your disdain from a large part of the matter of this forum; *tahkeing the opportunity to repost here my work of art, now buried under other annoucements*

Henceforth any thread whining that an included civilization should have been left out, or that and excluded sivilization should have been put in must meet the requirements:
1. The poster must scan the existing threads to see if his subject has been previouly well covered (dead horses all over the place, ick!); the thread most have NEW content, no more redundency.
2. The posts must have a modicum of useful content and erudition, beyond "your country sucks and should be out" or "my country is great and should be in".
3. Some lanquage skills or humor must be shown in the whiny posts.
4. Spitting matches about what civ did what other civ dirty are not allowed.
5. Current events are right out!
6. No darn trolling!!!!
7. If your thread is too tedious or irritanting to the Hippo on one of his bad days, he may squash it just to improve his state of mind.
