The last SimCity Will Wright helped design was SimCity 3000. EA has an entire division devoted to The Sims; I think Wright's involvement with that series has waned over the years.

I'm still holding out for a proper SimCity 5 one of these days...

Yeah Will Wright was not involved in Sim City 4 and to think a true Sim City sequel will not come just because he isn't working for EA anymore is misguided

I didn't know he was not involved with Civ4, the last one I played (and own) is 3000. Hopefully in his absence they don't screw up SimCity5 but I have little hope.

First I Had my hopes up that he had the dingity to leave Maxis but subsequently leave EA that . .. .. .. .ed Maxis over.


then I hear in the Video that he's joining some dumbass firm called "Stupid Fun Club" which EA owns all rights from. With a name like that you have to wonder if he downgraded and not upgraded his standards.
