What is considered an "advanced" form of government?

Something we have, in my humble opinion, yet to come up with Our "democracy" is a republic. We added separation
of power, parlamentarism & political parties, but its still a republic.
What civilization calls "advanced forms of government" are in truth ideologies. And I personally think they should be
treated like religions (aka "modern" religions/ideologies). But that's just my opinion.

I personally hope we never 'advance' beyond the idea of Republic, unless, of course, I am allowed to become Benevolent Dictator of all I see and survey!

The trouble is with all games is that "new features" looks good to the Marketing Department, whereas "we fixed the things that were broken first time round" doesn't. Actually, I'd rather have the old things fixed!

Whatever the new features may be, they should show drastic improvement in ways that none of us have predicted. Especially when one considers that many of the changes affect the other pieces of a puzzle with lots of moving parts.
