Have tried this game on 3 laptops in the past and have always had crashes, freezes, and other sorts of weird things happen. So....I needed to buy a new laptop and I got a gaming laptop from Xtreme Notebooks. This thing has the following:
Intel Duo Core 2.2
Nvidia GeForce 8600 512 MB
1 GB
120 G HD
If I play this game by the 1930's I am having the same crashing stuff happen. I have updated to the latest drivers and patches (1.74 I think) and I still have problems. I am convinced this game just won't run on a laptop 4 whatever reason. I am not a computer guy so I don't know much but if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone has played this game successfully on a laptop I would be interested to know what planet you bought the computer on!! When I play I do play for a while at a time so maybe that has some impact but I don't know. I do know the game is addictive 4 sure.
2k games customer support just tells me that it should work. They have told me this on every laptop I had. They don't seem 2 help much.
