Windows Movie Maker help

I have been trying to import the Benny Hill theme into my Windows Movie Maker and I keep getting an error saying clip is corrupt. I scanned it with my anti virus and found nothing. I have tried several different versions of the clip and it has never worked. The Audio clip is around 4 minutes and 30 seconds long. What should I do? Is the clip somehow too long for Windows Movie Maker?

Not sure if this'll work, but give it a try:

Tools > Options > Compatibility > Clear the checkboxes.

If it works, try enabling them one by one until it breaks. Then disable that one.

This worked when I kept getting video errors.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot that if you uncheck every single one, I think nothing will import. So I should have said try unchecking them until it un-breaks.
