Windows XP Can't Stack File Error

Help..I am running windows xp and I get "stack fault in module IR41.dll Civ2 will close" every time I try to start.

Also, for XP is it mandatory that you go to Indeo site and download their Codec patch?

Any help would be appreciated.

Well I wouldn't go to the Indeo site as you would have to pay for the update, but it is necessary to download the latest drivers. http://hometown.aol.com/cedricgreene
