Two notes before I state my case:
1) My public library has, in circulation, a legitimate copy of Civilization 3:Complete, which I have installed to my computer.
2) Because I cannot always have that copy of the CDs with me, I have used no CD Patches so I can play the game without the CDs.
I really hope this doesn't affect my ability to post in the future.
Now, then:
My problem is this:
Whenever I win a Civilization game (I've only been playing the Conquests, but I suspect it works with all won games), and when I continue to the screen beyond my defeated enemies, an error message pops up and the game closes.
I'm running from behind a Windows XP, 2002 Home Edition, using a 160 GB USB-connected hard drive to store the game.
