I'm playing as America Inc. and I've eliminated Europa, but I'm kinda bored (big maps are just too much work for me) and building up to fight the south who has twice my power will take a long time so I'm wondering about the rules for a diplomatic victory. In a recent patch it said if one team has enough votes to make itself the winner alone then the vote can't be called. Does this apply to this scenario? The south votes for itself and Asia abstains, and they won't repeal environmentalism so I can use their favorite civic so I can't get their votes. I could sushi my way to more votes but only if I'm allowed to vote myself in alone.
