WLTKD- what does it actually do?

sweet.. worth me working to keep it up then :)

Didn't know WLTKD reduces pollution?

note that when a city goes from WLTKD to "WLTKD has ended", your GPT will also fall, clear evidence that a happy city is a productive city with little corruption.

Does a city with WLTKD produce more culture by any chance? I guess it grows quicker?

WLTKD does not reduce corruption, it only cuts waste (red shields).

Uh...I think this may be a translation issue.

WltKDs don't affect corruption (lost gold), but waste (lost shields).
Nothing to do with pollution at all.
Also, WltKDs decrease flip risk and susceptibility to propaganda.

Hm... Right. Corruption also affects lost gold. So in that sense WLTKD does not reduce corruption but only cuts wasted shields...

Although people refer to lost shields as corruption, I think the definitions used on this site are:

Corruption = red commerce.
Waste = red shields.

As for the WLTKD, I will quote from alexman's corruption article:

For waste calculations only, when the city is in a WLTKD celebration, divide da by 2.

Which means that WLTKD affects waste but not corruption.
