Roman unique quarter, does it actually work?

So the Roman unique quarter supposably provides bonus gold per tradition in your Government? Does it actually work thanks to the shocking UI I have no way of telling if its adding anything to my income. Also does it stack if you have multiples?

I don't know if the written bonus works but it seems to provide some unwritten bonus for buildings that are built next to it. Unsure if bug, unexplained feature, or both.

I don’t know for sure, and I also don’t know whether it is calculated at city level or policy level (I would assume the first), so checking isn‘t necessarily easy. But if it works correctly, it should stack. At least the bonuses of other unique districts that are easier to follow stack, e.g., each completed unique majapahit district gives a relic, not just the first one.

It does work for Culture, but not for Gold (neither for the display of yields breakdown, nor for the actual Gold per turn when changing Policies).
It does stack for each City (Settlement?) that has one.
Here is the display for Culture:

Also it seems that the Inn (Food and Happiness Building) does not count for the Temple of Jupiter adjacency (+1 Culture adjacency for Happiness Buildings).
My guess is that the buildings which generate multiple types of bonuses still only count as a single building type. The Inn is a Food Building which happens to also have a special Happiness side effect. The Pavilion is a Culture building that happens to have a special Happiness side effect. The Dungeon is a production building that has a Influence bonus side effect.

From a programming standpoint, that’s a much simpler solution (and therefore easier to maintain and less likely to screw up) than allowing buildings to fit into multiple categories. Of course the more complex solution does give more flexibility, but it’s probably not worth the cost.

Probably, but then they should only be categorized as "first yield" Building, not both, even if giving both base yields. Because a bous or an adjacency for a type of Building is expected to work for all Buildings that are listed into that category.

It seems that the type of buildings follows the declaration of tool tip ("X Age Y building"), not the yield of buildings.

Where is this screen? Not sure i have ever seen it.

In the city screen where you pick production, look above the production tab. You'll see what looks like an unrolled scroll just to the left of the food icon. Click that. That will bring you to the screenshot above, only you'll be on the person tab. Just scroll/click on the option to the far right, similar to what is on his attached image. This will bring you to the same screen as in the screenshot.

It's pretty unclear when the quarters are doing their thing, I'd love some text with base yields plus blue text with bonuses and or adjacency.

Also think I had a glitch with the Spanish quarters in one game, i built about 3 of them, then afterwards, I'd build one of the 2 buildings, then be unable to place the 2nd. It would just be greyed out. Not sure if others have had similar problems with their unique quarters. It only seemed to bug for one game one age. I know the Spanish ones have a bonus for being in homeland, but they were not building in my original cities after I had 2-3 of them.

I’ve seen this with some civs. The second building requires that the settlement be a city.
