Wonder era restriction

Based on watching some let's plays on a preview build of Civ VI, I notice that a lot of wonder do not get built. This is likely due to the restrictions of placement and the high building costs of wonders. Now I have to say that I don't mind not all the wonders being built, but I hate it when classical wonders get built in the industrial era or later, or medievel era wonders in the modern era.

Therefore I think it would be good to have a wonder era restriction, meaning that you can only build a wonder in the era when you can start building it or one era later. This means that you can build a classical wonder in the classical and medieval era, but no longer in the industrial era.

I recognize that there will be some inbalance between wonders, as some wonders you can build early on in an era while others later in a specific era, but this is interesting too I think since it is a choice (these wonders you will need to rush more).

Finally, the wonder era restriction will probably mean that even on higher difficulty you can finish wonders, which you were less able to do in civ V.

At least we can then avoid the Great Lighthouse being built in the Modern era, which makes no sense :)
Hopefully we will also see less warriors hanging around at this point, but that is something for another topic

In Civ5 the mechanic exists to make buildings obsolete. Because of the District system now in Civ6 this mechanic may not even be an option. If it is, it still may not work for wonders. I will need to experiment. I will keep this in mind because I kind of like this idea.
