wonky espionage maybe? and religion bug

when I had a spy conduct a mission in a foreign city, it said it was successful, but it also said my spy was caught (China - Qin). but I noticed there was no diplomatic penalty, so what was the consequence of getting caught if the mission worked -- just that the spy was killed? this might not be a bug, just I don't understand

also I notice when you are building missionaries and you already have 3 in production, instead of that being the reason you can't build another, it says you need a monastery. I am running organized religion so that is not really the reason. if I am under the 3-missionary limit again, it will let me build them again.

anyone else noticing things like this?

Noticed what you say with spies also, and i thought the same at first

Problem maybe is what should happen when ais spy get cought by you? should you get worse relations with them for things youre not in control of?
Solution could be ai and players are forced to pay reperations if cought and if they cant they suffer a small hit to happiness for x rounds maybe.

The thing with missionarys arent a bug i think, you just cant have more than 3 at any time it seems, tho it would make sense the game did checks on how many there actually were instead of how many are cued up.

yeah I am assuming the only repercussion right now is that your spy is killed. it just seemed like that was not enough because you can build more spies easily, but whatever.

what I meant to say re: missionaries is that the game is giving the wrong message in red when you try to build more than 3 at a time. it should say "limit 3 missionaries" or something, like I think it did in Warlords. instead in BTS it is telling me "requires monastery" but I don't require those because I am in organized religion.

The spy was foiled but they didn't realise it was you who sent him.
It's a bit like when you get messages that you've captured a spy,
and sometimes they tell you their nationality, usually not.
