Yea very annoying. It wasnt like this with Civ 5 right? Remember using worldbuilder so mutch with that game and it was fun making stuff. But they said the worldbuilder for Civ 6 will get an update soon. Maybe 1 month or 2 or 3 i guess. Takes time

It’s a small mod but yes, not sharing your hard work can be frustrating.
I love it for being able to test how things work so it is not completely useless.
They are certainly not looking after all their fan base by doing this.
And they've updated it as a part of GS patch. IDK what was fixed, hard to say without real patch notes of the core side of the modding tools.
We're still waiting for an update of the other parts of the SDK, so maybe there is more coming soon in a GS "developer" patch.
And they've said that there is more changes to come in the future.
Still I'd would have loved to know what their plans where in relation to modding at the time of the initial release, I'm afraid it will stay restrained until the third expansion is out.
I'm really starting to believe that it's true that someone in the decision process at Firaxis (or more likely 2K games) seems to be stupid enough to believe that mods are a danger for DLC/Expansion sales.
Yet the lack of modability is the reason that I don't buy their DLC/Expansion, and don't mod for them (I just try to keep my mods compatible, as there is no reason that mod users should be penalized because of some bad corporate decision)
The modability used to be one of the core advantages of the Civ series. I remember fondly all the great mods and scenarios of Civ2-4. Usually, modders would come up with great adjustments and ideas to improve the game. I build some scenarios myself. I'm very sorry this feature gets neglected in Civ6 (even the Civ5 implementation was not ideal).
Yes. Quite annoying. I was all excited about the g.s. announcement and disappointed yet again. C'mon! It can't be that labor intensive for firaxis to provide a user-friendly, all-inclusive map builder toolset....
