Well I bought this game and must say Im not really all that impressed, its not bad per say, but its just pretty bland. Which is a complete bummer because I bought it from a choice between it and Sins of a solar empire which I knew would be good(its stardock). The game just lacks any kind of depth really, its a mob RTS through and through with very little strategy involved. Its playable but It definitely wont last long before I shelve it. What did you guys all think?

I played it for a couple of months before shelving it. Its not a bad game, but after the 10th time it kinda loses its value. I mean, the tactics dont change all that much.

Sins though, you really should buy that. Ive logged so many hours in that game already and im nowhere close to stopping.

The problem is is that there aren't any tactics, its just pure blobbing pretty much. The reviews all made it out like it was Total war with tanks, they don't take into account any tactics or strategies or any resource management or anything like that. Its just a very mindless game which is why it pretty much lost all its appeal from the first few missions. That and the voice acting is terribly annoying, they try so hard to be "military" and it just comes off as cheezy and uninspired.
