World Linkage Mod??

Would it be possible to develop a MOD where there were two World maps that could be linked together such that a unit could move from one map to another at one or two key locations on the various maps (think Stargate)???

Nope. But you can divide one map with some sort of impassable terrain and use some key locations as passages.

That would not really work well for the scenario I had in mind, but the suggestion you have made does open up other possibilities. Where would be the appropriate forum to post a suggestion to the Civ guys to consider possible stargate type modification capabilities?
