World Map Question

Just a quick question.

How or when does the map go from being flat to being a globe? By that i mean the 'flat' having to scroll to see the map on flat 2d to being able to spin the 'globe' with the map on. Ive had the globe appear when i least expect it, sometimes its early game, sometimes quite a few centuries in. Thought it was a tech, hitting a new era or amount of the map scouted but I cant seem to tie what causes it.
I really like the globe, so much easier to see who I can get my elethumps to trample next

I guess its Calendar tech (centers world map) or Stonehedge wonder if you build it (BTS atleast its like that)

Guess I should have mentioned im playing BTS. No its not Stonehenge, tried that. Calendar tech though, sounds like an idea, ill try that next game thanks.

I still think Stonehenge lets you spin the globe in BTS. Are you playing a mod?
