I really don't like world wonders limitation, as I hated population limit in older civs.
It's frustrating and this game is about fun.

The goal behind the limitation rule is good anyway.

I propose another way to handle this.
Building a wonder in a city is affected by wonders already built in this city :
- cost +20% for each world wonder
- cost +10% for each national wonder

What do you think about it ?

you could go in to the file and change limit from 4 to -1 (unlimited!)

maybe maintenance costs could be part of it?

Install "A New Dawn"-Modmodpack (see subforums) and if starting a custom game/scenario, you can check the "no limited wonders" option.

Ah thanks, I've got the modpack already but I haven't seen the option apparently.

That's a great little addition, however in my current game there are two AI cities that are about 6-7 sizes bigger than the rest and are gobbling up every wonder that becomes available... so it works both ways.
