Worst OS?

For me, Win ME was a headache.

Hehe, I had ME and if it didn't crash at least once a day, something was wrong

Win95 combined with a lousy computer which I eventually got rid of really gave me a headache. It used to crash all the time, IE crashed like every 10 minutes...

I think Windows 98, and then XP are the most stabl OSs that M$ came out with. Luckily I have XP now

Must be Windows 98. I remember when Windows 95 was released, it was spectacular compared to Windows 3.x, and I too, have Windows XP and it's running perfect and never cracks.

I have win98 now and it crashes occasionally but is usually stable. Before that I had win95 for FIVE years. Towards the end of my old PC's life it would crash all the time. I eventually had to run my PC in safe mode just to do any work

Win ME, it just sucks. Easily the worst ever. It crashes every other minute as well. BOOOOO!!!!!

I voted Mac OS 8. I can't remember which # it was exactly, but the earlier Mac Oses sucked arse.

Of the OSs I have used, I would say ME. That OS was a real

Who remembers DOS4? That was pretty impressive

I love XP, though.

Windows ME by far. Not by own experience I must admit, but I can not recall one single positive story about it.

Windows 3.0 wasn't a beauty either. With good DOS knowledge it was managable however.

Windoze XP is very incompatable with other systems so it wins #1, but on unreliability Windoze ME takes the cake

Hmm.....Windows XP being incompatiable? I think it is the best attempt that MS has made at making it work nicely with old apps. Aytime you upgrade you asre bound to find yourself not able to use an old part....that is part of dealingwith computers....it always has been and always will be. But everyone is allowed their own view point...even if it is wrong.

True..maybe this poll should read worst OS/shell.......

I changed my mind...I think Mac OS is definately the crappiest piece of crap ever to be thought up. It's real nice for people just looking at a computer for their first time though
