Well, was this easy for immortal hard for Noble?
Did you meet any other civs?
Did barbarians give you any trouble?
When did you complete circumnavigation?

Hello little thread!
Are you lost? You seem lost.
Shall we find out where you belong, together?

Well, I'm too much of a builder to launch effective early rushes. This game made me feel good, because I'm fairly confident nobody else will have an early rush in this game, either. At least, I think that's a fair assumption, since I managed to circumnavigate in 800 BC without finding any of the AI. ;)

So, at 1 AD, I have six cities, plus I've built the Oracle for the CS sling and the GLH. Barbs weren't a problem, with the limited size of the island. Two goody huts gave me Hunting and experience for a warrior.

Hard to tell... Seems pretty normal so far...

Did you meet any other civs?

Almost... I SEE "peach", but have not been able to meet him. I will do so in 10 turns from now...

Did barbarians give you any trouble?

Light annoyance at one point when a single barb warrior killed TWO of my healty warriors. Other that that, no, fog busting was relatively effective.

When did you complete circumnavigation?

I did not write it down, and dont really remember... I would guess around turn 75.

The 3 huts on the island gave me 107 gc and hostile barbarians :(

So, at 1AD, I have 12 cities, with 3 more comming in about 6 turns. 170 bpt at 100%, and 86 at 40% which is sustainable. That will get me optics in 7 turns. Then one turn (t+8) of building a caravel, whip on turn t+9, and it is available on t+10, and should be able to meet peach immedietly.

I have 39 pop, and only 4 Fast workers, 10 warriors, and 2 galleys. That is the nature of archepeligo, I guess...

I usually build triremes and upgrade them to caravels for 50g. Is it better to spend the pop?

you only need 4 because they work fast ;)
how many fishing boats?

A caravel is a 2-pop whip... With all the seefood and limited power tiles on the map, I think that is a better investment than the 50 gc + the trieme.

On number of WB, I am working from memory here, but I think I count having netted 14 seafood, and have one WB still alive.

Bah. 1AD 12 cities. I'd never get that many even if I tried.
Missed Oracle. Went for both rocky resources and began churning out wonders with the occasional settler thrown in between wonders. What else is there to do before teching ocean-going things? Started galley exploration very late. can't remember when I circumnavigated, nice gift it was though, galleys accelerating 50%.
Won't say anything else because can't remember where I was at 1AD and can't reload to check lest I get branded a cheater.

I also missed Oracle... I asked for it however... I tried to Oracle Machinery, but even on Noble, that is pushing your luck... The only wonders I got (at 1AD, some are still open, so I might still collect more) are GLH and a late stonehenge...

:D 4 cities :D 5th for marble in 1 turn.

Decide to wonderspam :D. Circumnavigated the world and want to expand to those nice islands.

GWall for eng points 925 BC
Stonehenge not for me, short after
GScientist bulb of Maths gave me Oracle 750 BC
GLH 425 BC
4 turns to Mids.

Granary, Library, Forge in cap

Techs: fishing, BW, wheel, masonry, agri, pottery, writing, AH, poly, priesthood, (bulb maths), CoL, Mono, Sailing, (CS Oracle), MCasting, Currency, close to Calendar.

I want to build most wonders (at this moment have +200% toward wonders - beauro + OR + forge+ resources) and win by space :P

Huts: exp and map :(

Circumnavigated 1440bc , got a wb by misclick.
Huts gave me 2xgold, a scout and Construction. :)
Lost Oracle 950bc
- and I was late to CoL by 1 turn
