Would you still play civ3?

I stopped playing civ3 one year ago, might not buy Civ4 due to budget constraints as I planned to buy RTW:BI and TES:Oblivion.

For those who planned to play Civ3 even when they own Civ4, please send me your copy as a Xmas gift Thank you.

I stoppped playing Civ3 one year ago anyway.

Doing some RaR at the moment, but only on rare occasions. If Civ4 turns out to be as mediocre as Civ3, that it'll be for me.

I'll play Civ III mods but other than that I think if Civ IV is as good as the previews seem, I will stick to it.

Since I think my computer (a 2.53-GHz P4 w/ 512 Mb PC2100 SDRAM and a 64 Mb Nvidia GeForce MX440 vidcard) can do it, I've just uninstalled Civ3 from my hard drive already. Just about the only thing I can do to help, though, is to add another RAM stick, so this'll be as far as I can take the current system.

By April, I should have a new computer (an AMD 64x2 4800+ w/ 1 Gb PC4200 SDRAM and a 256 Mb Nvidia 6800 or ATI Radeon X800 vidcard), but only Civ4, Rome: Total War and the latest version of EA Sports's NASCAR Sim Racing will be on that one. By then, I should be able to get more out of the games.

So, no more Civ3...

i'll join in with the got rid of it crowd. Great game- played it into the ground- mp at the end but even that became the same song and dance after a bit.

I'm pretty sure this new technology will make Civ3 obsolete for me....

I no longer play civ 3, so i dont see any reason to go back and play it, particurly when my main reason for abandoning civ 3 was a lack of easy modability, particurlay with units- now that new skins can easilyl eb created, and the game itself is firmlyl slanted towards modability, I see no reason to switch back once I get started.

I'm in a middle of a multiplayer game of Civ3c with a freind, we thought we would have time for one more game before Civ4 came out, but with the early release this might be the last one! I dont think we will go back to Civ3c after Civ4 is released if we did it would be years from now!

I will probably still replay the conquests ever now and again after Civ 4 but not often.

I will play Civ III because of all of the better then Fraxis mods made for it.

Most likely I will not play, though I am in a couple of PBEM games at current so i will continue them, and if the oppenant(s) want a rematch then I would play that as well. So basiclaly, i'll keep playing multi-player for awhile, but otherwise I will witch to civ4
