Wrong Art

When I play I get the wrong artwork for my units. I am currently playing Joten and my giants are showing up as giant versions of the swordman. It did this when I was playing Orcs aswell they showed up as other things. It also shows me other peoples units incorrectly. Anyone got a clue?

There are a few possibilities. First of all, if you're playing with "frozen animations" enabled, please disable that. Also disable "single unit graphics" because I'm not certain how that works. These are both found in the options menu, which is easily reachable by pressing esc during a game, or going to advanced > options on the main menu

Also ensure that you've downloaded and installed FF 0.51, and THEN patch A. If you did them in the wrong order, or if you didn't get the first one, issues like you mentioned may result.

Sometimes units just stand their and morph back and forth. My units always look correct in combat.

The problem was my settings had changed to low video.

Single unit graphics and unfrozen (defrosted?) animations work fine for me. And I wouldn't dare to tax my machine with anything other than low graphic settings.
