im currently the russians in the world war two secnario.thing is french make peace fast when beaten by the axis and allies make peace when the war goes in favor of the axis.i never make peace,when i try they dont let me.my main force i use is armor,riflemen,and partsins.i have no offesive tactics,but i can keep a great defense.i need some one to help me.best thing ive tried was landing armor on africa to take tropoli or something.help!!!!!!!

Alright, here's what I do. Get combined arms (Paratroopers), use your tanks, get robotics (howitzers), get rocketry (cruise missile & AEGIS cruiser), flight and advanced flight (War planes), make some of these guys and use 'em! Also, spies are REAL nice!

This is a simple scenario from the Russian side. Hold the Germans at the border, or slightly in, by using Riflemen and Marines on defensive terrain. Build a lot of fighters, and get tech off Allies. Get cash off the minor powers.
You have the advatage of territory. Use it.
Hold Leningrad, and take Helsinki to get rid of annoying Kraut presence.
Get Advanced Flight, and build copious bombers and armor in the industrial hinterland. Bring those troops across from Siberia, and holding the Germans is easy. Then, once you have absorbed their worst, assault them using a pincer, one arm south through Balkans, the other through Poland.
Use diplomats to steal tech if you want.

Allies usually assault Germans through Kiel, and maybe France. Do not bother building a fleet; just build plenty of fighters and bombers, and tanks. Swamp the foe with your numbers.

There are only 3 sides who can actually win the Scenario - the Axis, the Allies and the Russians.

The Axis are very powerful, the Allies are but have to go through France and spend most of their time losing ships in the Atlantic. The Russians have the best oppourtunity in the game.

Successful times I have done it involves trading techs with everyone, esp giving techs to the lesser nations so they can give me valuable gold in return.

My prefered route is to take Konigsberg (Copernicus's Observatory) and go North through to take the Capital, Berlin. It just seems to me that once you take their capital they almost demoralise quite a bit.

Going south via the Neutrals and into France, taking Paris can also help you as well.

The important thing to remember as the Russians is that you have the most to gain from this Scenario, and have the tools to be able to do it. Never underestimate the destructive power of spies and bombers and paratroopers!

THis is slightly off the subject, but I wanted to say it. Qhwn you are on Chieftan, the French are fun to play, as with the Itialians(Cheiftan and maybe Warlord are the only levels they stand a chance) Make War on you historical Allies(Allies-Frech Germans- Italian) and reak havoc on them. Its pointless toward your score, but its fun

Playing the Russians is so easy: you just have to build an enourmous amount of fortresses is the East of Russia and to put a lot of tanks in them.
You have to get Bombers (pay the Allies for it!) Now, all your cities will have to build tanks or bombers or engineers and kicking the Axis ass is simple!
