WWII Scenario rule in MGE

Does anybody know what the WWII box does when you click it where you can edit scenario stuff like Tech from conquest, or pollution if any one knows I would love to hear it

Yeah so What happens when you check the WWII box? I'd like to know too - does it just mean total war with no negoiation?

 

[Case]

The WW2 AI was designed for use with the WW2 scenario that came with the inital release of Civ2. Basically, it provides some basic events and negotiation rules for use in this scenario (eg France surendering and moving thier capital after the Fall of Paris).
I'm pretty sure that it won't work with any other scenarios though, and it's generally considered unwise to turn it on.
