Does anyone have any tips or strats for the WWII conquest?

I want to complete it as the commonwealth.
Last game I made airports and baracks around Australia, and then airlifted my troops into Singapore. I could quickly transport hordes of ANZACs and marines over there, but they didn't do too well running into MG fire from the cities there :mischief:

I need to come up with some way to stop the mighty Japanese air force too.
Should I try and build my country some, or just keep building military in the useful cities?

Thanks in advance :)

keep building military units and fighters to battle other fighters and bombers to destroy infrastructures and weaken units.

It can be tough as the commonwealth. Build military units only (don't forget
transports) and ALOT of air power! ;) . Don't try to do too much too soon,
take your time and build up---then later :hammer: when you have plenty
of forces! :D

Thanks for the help :)

So is a large airforce more recommended than moving a lot of flak and arty with my units?
And are transports and a navy needed? I think I should be able to win by airlifting troops into the Singapore area and win by domination on the mainland there.

As usual, make alot of defensive units, especially flaks, and then build just a few workers, then WORK YOUR BUTT OFF!!! Lots of tanks are certainly necessary for success.

I usually take a lot of artillery with Anzacs, some MG to defend them and defend the cities that they take, I also use a few conscripts.

You can use the navy that you start with to escort your transports, well that's what I do.

One time I used a spy on a Japanese city and found that they had most of their navy fortified in it. I took the city and it felt good

Singapore is your key city, since it contains your FP. Rush airports in the major cities in Australia and airlift as many infantry and Flak units as possible to Singapore. Move all your fighters threre as well.

If the AI is unlucky and fails to capture Hong Kong in the first turn, fortify this city the same way (this will block key resouces from the AI, making the win very easy)

Attack the japanse fleet within striking distance with all air and sea units you have. After that move your fleet out of the japanse air force range.

Build artillery units in the asian cities (since these cannot be airlifted from Australia), and build fighters and infantry units in Australia.

Block the Japanse advance north of Singapore with stacks of artillery and infantry, while trying to win the air battle with your fighters.

Start the advance into Thailand with infantry and artillery.

On higher levels don´t bother about research, spend the money buying units. On lower levels don´t bother about nukes, since you don´t have any uranium! Medium tanks is nice, though.

i first won as the commanwealth on that senareio

thears 1 thing u MUST do for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i cant tell u how imperative it is, but hear it gose
1, dont let indonsea fall to the japs, thear is oil thear so send troops into duch teratories if needed.

2. The only sorces of oil for the japs come strat out of freench indo china. use bombers or artilery to destroy thos rouds, or sind a squad of 3-4 azacks to destroy the roads, near the top of the indochina, chines boder, destry the roads and raleroads. that way troops and tanks will move slower.

3. try to save as much as ur navie as posible.

4. take all frenchindo china, and move up into the chines cost
