Well I think it would be obvious that some day I will finish it since I previewed it among other ships that I'm doing. But there are so many others that must come before it. The problem that I've run into with the Olympia is that the turrets are one object, and all the barrells are an entire seperate object, precluding me from giving it a broadside attack. So that model will require a bit of extra work or else it will just be a half hearted unit firing over the bow.
Shoot it! (Aggie term)
I think I will have to do the HMS Rodney/Nelson next. I was plannining on doing the Utah but after looking at some older pictures....I could see it was missing a LOT of after super structure. so to make it accurate I will need to strip some from other ships like it.
It is really a pitty they should be reduced to civ scale...
Hmm... I have a request for you. Would it be possible to get them rendered at twice their civ size?
I may very well try to make a zoom function in SSS, so we would see them better during battles, or zoom out to get a better view. They are so nice it would really be a pitty not to be able to do so!
That would be a huge time investment. Twice the size would mean 4 times the area, and 4 times the normal rendering time. Although it would look nice, it would also just kill me. Butit would also be impossible with the current version of your SBB and flicster.
