X-COM - Any fans here?

I have always been a big fan of the X-COM series, I was just wondering if there were any fellow X-COM fans out there? If so, vote which one is your favourite.

Personally my favourite was always Terror From The Deep, even though it wasn't really too different to the original.

On another note, would anybody like to see a new X-COM game? I hear Firaxis has the rights to it now. It is a shame that X-COM: Alliance was cancelled, but ah well.

I'm not really into it, but it has its own sub-forum at forums.mzocentral.net , and I'm to understand there's a quite a few dedicated players there

I played the original... I liked the real time world mode instead of the turn based battle mode of the game (and losing scared me)...

you forgot UFO: Aftermath, the newest one which isn't bad either. ok, officially it's not related to the others, but AFAIK that's only for legal reasons...

Nothing ever reached the first two though, I loved Enemy Unknown and Terror from the Deep

Apocalypse and Interceptor were crap, IMHO, and I never played Enforcer

Why I'm only Apocalypse fan ATM

When it came and I tried demo, I immediately had to get that game. I loved real time option there (what was darn good made!) and destroyable enviroment, where you could take out whole skyscraper with alien mine if you wanted. Tho 60-70 sci-fi theme was bit of silly but I could easily forgive it since everything else were made perfectly. If you didn't had any spare parts or ammunition for your shuttles, go ahed and take a raid! Sometimes I loved to terrorize organizations what I didn't like and take all the goodies from them

I don't mind thing that it was based to only one city. I understand if original game fans didn't like the thing but then all the micromanagement would be impossible.

Another big plus was that first time you could get to know how things are in alien planet

I keep it best game in X-COM series

Actually I left out UFO: Aftermath because it's not really an X-COM game. It is similar but there are a lot of differences.
