XBox 360

Sweet system. I've got Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark 0, Kaminio, Call of Duty 2, and Saints Row. Looking forward to Gears of War as well. The new Nintendo deck looks decent and since its cheap I think my GF will buy one. I payed for the 3 last generation decks her turn this time (she bought the 360). She wants to get Viva Pinata and luvs Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Gamecube.

I'll get one when Halo 3 comes out. On the topic of consoles, that two handed controller for the Wii looks cool. Its semi vitural, can swing the controller for baseball instead of pressing a button. RedSteel looks great.

I think there's a thread in Other Games about this.

I own a 360 having bought one with my first pay packet for my first full time job. I have Elder Scrolls, Fight Night, Prey, Saints Row, Dead Rising, and Fifa 07.

I was very dissapointed with Prey, good idea and good engine, but I just didn't like the fact you couldn't die.

What do you think of Saints Row? GTA clone but with improvements IMHO. I like it. Eventually I'll own 360, Wii and PS3.

Yes, exactly. Thats what I consider Saints Row. It's like..... a game just showing some of the little features that GTA will feature when it comes out on the next gen console. alot of fun little tit bits like crashing and flying through the windscreen, that's rather fun.

If Saints Row is any indication of whats coming then GTA'll be rather good.

I'll probably end up doing that too. I'm quite a techno-head. I enjoy having lots of games around me

I have one with three games. Dead or Alive 4, Lego Star Wars 2 and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I have three original Xbox games from before my Xbox broke that work on the 360 (I had about 30 more, but they don't work on the 360).

Yep, and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm in the same boat! :goodjob:

The thing that discouraged me from buying a 360 is that I can get most of those games on PC. In general the Xbox platform doesn't carry the genre of games I'm into. Plus I'm saving my meagre earnings for a PS3.

I'm hoping Phantasy Star universe will be a great RPG for te system. i've got al the others going back to the Sega master system and megadrive/genesis version of the series.

Yes and Gears of War is cool.
