Inspired by http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=454424, this is the thread for XCOM: Enemy Unknown achievement save files. And feel free to post your own!

How to use: Download save and copy it to My Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\SaveData.

Lone Wolf (Clear a UFO crash site with one soldier on Classic or Impossible difficulty.)
- Kill the Ethereal inside.
Or you may attempt for Xavier at 3% chance

Flight of the Valkyries (Win a mission with an all-female squad. Single player only.)
- Kill the Sectoid Commanders.

Wet Work (Complete a Very Hard abduction mission in five turns or less on Classic or Impossible difficulty.)
- Kill the Sectoid.

- Kill the Uber Ethereal to finish the game.

Our Finest Hour (Beat the game on Impossible difficulty.)
- Finish the game.

Ain't No Cavalry Comin' (Have a soldier survive every mission in a full game.)
Xavier (Mind Control an Ethereal. Single player only.)
- Mind control the Ethereal(100% chance), Then finish the game next turn.
Also an Europe win for A Continental Fellow achievement.

Oppenheimer (Staff the Research Labs with 80 scientists.)
One Gun at a Time (Staff the Engineering Department with 80 engineers.)
- Scan for activity, council will reward scientists and engineers.

As A Scalpel (Earn the "Excellent" rating in every performance category on a terror mission.)
- Kill the Heavy Floater.
You can get Angel of Death too by using one of two soldier wearing Archangel armor.

One very minor gripe I have with XCOM is that there don't seem to be many achievements, and most are not hard to get - I got over a quarter of them in a couple of days' playing, with no effort to try for achievements. So I'm not sure achievement saves are very necessary.

15 achievements are auto-achieved when you finish a game, and you'll get 5~20 more by how you play. Over a quarter of them? Sure they come easily.

But some achievements require serious grinding, e. g. A Continental Fellow.

I've only just shot down the Overseer UFO (had trouble obtaining intact flight computers to build the Firestorm), so this is without actually finishing the game... I've even got A Pale Horse, and the 'kill 50 aliens with explosives' achievement, without making any special effort to maximise alien kills.

Isn't that just having all countries on one continent covered? I have that.

Well, I was surprised...

As to your saves, I managed to get the Terror Mission achievement you have a save for in a standard mission last night - just rushed to rescue civilians (losing only one to a Chrysalid during the mission), and scoring Excellent on both other counts.

On that subject, is there much point to scoring you for aliens killed? Most missions require killing all aliens, so your rating will always be Excellent if you win - and seems to be at best Poor if you lose, even if you kill all but one or two aliens. More missions with objectives other than "kill all nonhumans" would be welcome, and as implemented the VIP missions are the least interesting and most repetitive mission type in the game - plus the way Thin Men spawn in those missions, you usually still end up killing them all incidentally even if you aren't trying to.

Um... maybe they wanted to make the player feel good
And all missions require to kill all aliens IIRC. In rescue mission I had to kill remaining aliens after evacuating VIP.

Agreed. Um... maybe they'll make a DLC.

Anyone heard of the new achievements that have been posted up on steam? Apparently there are 30 new achievements in the offing and many are speculating that this is in anticipation for the new DLC/expansion for Xcom - Enemy within. Most estimates i have read suggest that release is due for sometime in Autumn or winter. I expect sometime around when the game was released last year would make a certain amount of sense.
