yes - I guess something is wrong with your xml parser - since the game does not use its own but rather the one that windows uses by default...

actually no - the most I do with tech supporting this game is in this forum - if that does not work out I can only refer to the guys who are paid to do so.

I have stumbled across this problem today. I was able to restrore from January 3rd and load the game. I then undid the restore, since I installed Norton 360 2.0. I know that the Norton 360 2.0 is the cause but where and how can I fix this XML parsing issue.

you might need to disable norton or tell it to allow the game to access all its folders (in my games as well as in program files).
Apart from that: did you patch the game? it might fix any file permissions that norton screwed with...
