yet another font_75 questsion

has anybody had any luck adding more resources to the '3rd' line of resources (the blank line between the end of the game-made resources and the smiley/health/unhappy/unhealthy faces) without causing font problems elsewhere in the game....

does an full blank line have to be added?
we limited to the # of resources to the end of the line (after the game-made resources)
or did I just screw up somewhere somewhere that I haven't found yet?

ok will do as soon as I can figure out which popup blocker is stopping me from uploading it.

now that I know it can be done, I can find my mistake, I just wanted to check before I ripped out work that looked ok on the surface but wasn't working because it's not possible to work, no matter how 'right' it looks...

If the problem you're having is anything like what I was having with my religion mod, I might be able to help. My problem was that the religion icons would appear correctly, but the other resource icons were mismatched all over the place. Instead of happy faces I'd have elephants or something.

What I did to fix it was I took the edited GameFont files I had and opened them in photoshop. I opened fresh unedited copies too. I copied with the selection tool each icon within the grid square it appears and pasted it into the unedited copy. Went in and edited the alpha and left it visible. Then I put in the little cyan squares where needed. Suddenly it worked. It's worth a try at least, nothing else I tried fixed it.

Thanks Eclaf...*grin* actually I think it was me who told you to do that with the religous icons too... but I knew what to do, and it looked "ok" (all the alpha loaded, all the cyan dots where they belonged) so there shoudl have been no reason for the screwup, so I wanted to check to see if the '3rd line' thing was maybe the problem, since everything else seemed ok

but thank you! and thank you to the great ModGod Thelopez for the help it is so nice running into a forum site/community which helps each other out rather than the vaugely jr. highschool locker room & wet towel thing ya get elsewhere with some games.

got it fixed. mostly, the font is still off, but I got all my smiley/sickie faces where they belong. thanks for the help ya'll.
