I've been reading other posts and some people are having a problem very much like an ongoing one of my own. Eventual failure of game play. In vanilla CIV and PTW it manifests as freeze up. The game just stops responding. Conquests is more dramatic. Sooner or later opening the city screen blows you to desk top. It >might< be a hardware issue, although I've duplicated the problem on three different systems, under XP & 98SE.
Can modded games induse some kind of 'stress' or 'corruption'? I ran a vanilla 1.29 as a test and nada. Behaved perfectly. But I don't >want< to play boring unmoded games.
