A city that I received from my enemy in a peace treaty is not giving its base yield. (The 3 food and 4 production of the city tile.)

The 2 Hammers you see come from the walls.

I selected Puppet after the peace treaty that gave me the city and only later occupied it, but the problem existed from the beginning.

This is the only city with that problem - my capital, my secondary city and the conquered enemy capital all function normally.

This is with Gem 1.13.4 (Civup 2.5.2).

I just checked in a second game.

A city I received in a peace treaty does not get its base yield. (I played with England.)

If you want to check a save game, I can upload those too.

It's a vanilla bug I believe, but I haven't seen/noticed it in GEM/VEM until this version. I assumed it was fixed.

Happened on cities ceded to me for peace terms too, if that helps.

It appears this is a base-game bug with the vanilla functions. I looked around the game core code a while, but could not identify the cause of the problem. I think we can't easily fix this with a mod.

Well, like always happens when I try to cuddle up to Civ5, it's back to Civ4 with me for another year or so:sad:

Workaround would be: don't take any cities via surrender/peace terms. Always go capture them?
