You can download most of the files now, to save time - and they get less strain on their servers - and install the final bit or unlock when the official time starts.

It just means downloading the game before it is released. Of course, the game is locked until release. But that way the game is already on your computer ready to be installed as soon as it is released.

A lot of preorder AAA games let you download "preload" the game before the actual release date so when the release date happens you won't have to wait hours for the download to finish before you can actually play. Yay!

Green Man Gaming has revealed the keys to those who have preordered the game, and according to the site, preloading is enabled as well.

Will definitely get on it once I return home from work.
